Tarter Econometrics is an innovative consulting firm based in the Hampton Roads / Richmond areas, with clients throughout the East Coast. Our focus is developing customized applications for financial analytics and portfolio optimization; however, we also have interesting projects in a broad spectrum of other industries. We are an efficient, no-nonsense company -- you will work with smart people, use cool technology, and have real responsibilities that directly affect the business.
This position is for a C# Developer who will work directly with the Chief Technology Officer. You will also use VB9 for the front end, and some VBA and SQL.

Requirements: C#, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and other languages. 5 years minimum programming experience. Also send representative code sample. Degree in Computer Science related field preferred.
Requirements: Graduate degree in Mathematics or Economics. Knowledge of MATLAB, Maple, Stata, and SAS required. Strong econometric background necessary. Also send representative writing sample(s).
